We had the opportunity with Diego to travel to Paris last year our we enjoyed the food as much as each other company. We both enjoy gastronomy; what better city than Paris to experience its culture through its food.
I’m sure there are hundreds of options to choose from in Paris, but we enjoy these, and we left some for the next time we plan to visit the city of lights. Here are some of my favorite choices:
- Macaroon Lovers: We had our fair share of macaroons while visiting Paris; we ate at La Maison Laduree multiple times and enjoyed the most delicious macaroons; my favorite flavor was the rose petals macaroons, such a delicate flavor that can trick all your senses. You can also enjoy breakfast, lunch, and tea time in the most exquisite location in Champs Elysse.
- Truffle Lovers: If you love truffles, this restaurant is the perfect spot; Un Jour a Peryrassol it’s what I would define as truffle heaven for truffle connoisseurs. We enjoyed all things truffles, from a truffled soup, truffled risotto, plus the ambiance. It’s perfect for a romantic date night.
- The Romantic Dinner Cruise: This has to be my favorite experience, the Bateaux Parisiens, since we had the opportunity to explore Paris and enjoy a gourmet dinner while viewing the Eiffel Tower and many other iconic spots in Paris. We booked the Premier experience, which had an excellent view table at the top of the boat, but other options are available.
- Fondue Lovers: If you love fondue, you need to stop by the Le Chalet Savoyard. We had the most delicious cheese found perfect for those cooler days that were starting to come. Please make sure you make reservations because this restaurant has limited space, and it was complete.
- View Lovers: We come to Paris for the views, so Café de Trocadero is the perfect spot. We had the chance to enjoy delicious lunch and some cocktails while viewing the Eiffel Tower. We didn’t have reservations, but I can imagine that it gets full quite fast.
I hope you enjoyed some of my favorite Parisian restaurants while in Paris. Let me know which ones were your favorites, and leave recommendations in the comment box!
