My La Mer Crème Experience

Hi, welcome to a new post! Today it’s all about my La Mer crème experience. Before you splurge on any La Mer product you may want to know a little bit more about it.

Let me begin with how I got my hands on my first La Mer Crème. A couple of months ago my mom came to visit and she said she wanted something to help her look well rested. I immediately thought of La Mer but she wanted something stronger to use daily.

How do I use it?

I use the original crème La Mer every night before I go to bed ( I find it too thick to use it daily in Houston’s weather). You only need a pea size amount for your entire face and neck. I must warn you that there’s a trick in the way you need to use it.

First, applying your La Mer Crème like you would apply any other moisturizing is a big mistake. You only need a little bit, warm it between your fingers and then apply it.

(Tip: I also add some drops of my favorite face oil to help the cream to break down faster). After that you will see that it will become translucent, that’s when you pressed it gently into your skin.

Does it work for every skin type?

Yes, even for the oiliest skin or sensitive type. If you don’t like thicker creams for some reason then this type of moisturizing is not for you ( this is why I only use it at night). But you should definitely give it a try La Mer soft cream which is a lighter version of the original crème La Mer.

Did  La Mer creme work?

I’m personally really happy with the results, it made a huge difference for my entire complexion my skin looks overall rejuvenated and it gave me back that glow that we all like to have!

Is it worth the price?

Now, let’s talk about the price. Yes, it’s an investment but I have my 1 oz. jar for 6 months. I would take advantage and get one of the Christmas kits, or any other kit they offer, that way you could try different products at once. Price wise I’m inclined to say this is your best option. I still have my 1oz. the jar is almost 7 months, they say it last around 6 months but since I’m using it with a face oil is lasting a little bit longer.

Is this a miracle cream?

They do call their main ingredient “miracle broth” an ingredient that was born from the sea that claims to have the power to transform your skin. It changed the way my skin looks. If you already have deep wrinkles it won’t make them go away but it will keep the skin well hydrated you know hydrated skin is the main factor to prevent wrinkles.

Final Thoughts

Overall my skin looks smoother and brighter and it helped diminish dark spots. Even the driest or oiliest complexion will benefit from it. Don’t get fooled by the greasy texture it will soak right in.

I would definitely recommend is one of the most versatile products I know. If I’m going out of town and I don’t want to take the complete skincare product I just take my La Mer Crème. If your antiaging, eye cream, and moisturizing are all in one, you don’t need anything else.
