Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing Benjamin’s newborn pictures and one month postpartum. If you follow me on Instagram you already know I had to come back to the hospital five days after having baby “B”.

Let me share with you some details, for the sole purpose of letting everyone one that the best thing you can do is listen to your body at ALL TIMES.

After a few days I delivered Benjamin we went back home soaking all the newborn smell. πŸ™‚ A few days after, I started having some issues breastfeeding him so I decided to see a lactation consultant. She was so kind to come to my house and as usual she asked several questions regarding my health.
Well, let me tell you she literally save my life! She asked all the right questions and I had always the wrong answers or the answers I was least expecting. I had a really bad headache that not even the painkillers for the c-section were able to take away.

I was so focus on taking care of the baby that I couldn’t see I wasn’t feeling like myself. But I knew something was wrong but I wasn’t able to process it. ( I hope I’m making sense!) My blood pressure was high, high enough that I could actually hear my husband talking to me but his lips were not moving. Super scary…I thought I was just tired!

Long story short, I ended up in the hospital for a few days, they gave me magnesium to avoid a stroke and told me how happy they were I actually came back to the hospital. Here I was with the exact same symptoms I had with my oldest son’s pregnancy but I just wasn’t able to see them.

Where am I going with all of this? Take a minute to listen to your body, God send me this Guardian Angel and she was able to see things I wasn’t able to see. We all know taking care of a newborn is hard. Ask for help and let your family and friends help you. Our babies need us healthy. πŸ™‚

Hello! Today is almost a week since my second child Benjamin came into the world. My husband, my son and I are thrilled to have him in our lives.

By now you may know that Benjamin is a beautiful rainbow baby, I won’t get into details on how I lost my second pregnancy because today I want to focus in the joy, the happiness that this little soul brought to our family.

After praying and praying to have the chance to become a mom for a second time, we found out I was pregnant the exact same day I lost my second pregnancy, it was definitely a sign from Heaven.

We waited patiently for his arrival and after talking with my OB she decided that a scheduled c-section was the way to go. I had so many complications with my oldest son pregnancy and delivery that even though I was hoping to have a VD I was willing to go trough a c-section once again if both me and the baby were safe.

We arrived to the hospital two hours before the surgery around 10 a.m. and finally went into the surgery room around 12:30 p.m. 30 minutes after, but my husband and I were extremely anxious to see Benjamin’s face, those 30 minutes felt like an hour!

Everyone was helpful and guided me to feel relaxed even though a c-section is no joke! Finally at 12.54 p.m. my little rainbow came into the world I could hear him cry but I couldn’t see him right away. My husband was with him while the doctors ran some tests.
There I was crying of joy all by myself, I felt lonely I wanted to know what was going on, I wanted to see him, kiss him and be with him for just a second.

After who knows how long my husband came with him in his arms… My heart melted, he was everything I dreamed off, everything I prayed for and all I could think now is THANK YOU GOD YOU MADE THIS MIRACLE HAPPEN!

Hi there! I was super excited when I was approached by Bornbrite. I’m all about bonding with baby “B” while his still in my womb. I know from my son that that bond is real. When I was pregnant with him I used to listen to music and sing to him, he’s now 7 years old and every time he listens “that” song he falls asleep. πŸ™‚

What I loved about Bronbrite is that you have a book for every stage of your pregnancy. You can create an irreplaceable bond by reading to your baby and you can invite the rest of the family to be part of it.

Bornbrite was created by a caring mom for all the parents who wish to create a prenatal bond with their baby while reading aloud during each pregnancy month. Some of the benefits are enabling early bonding, stimulating brain development, facilitates auditory reception and promotes language and speech skills.

I hope you enjoyed this post and give Bornbrite a try, I can assure you that you will be building this bond for the rest of his/her life. πŸ™‚

Hi loves! Today I wanted to share some of the first outfits I’ve got for baby “B”. (Yes, we already chose a name but we are going to wait a little longer to share it). πŸ˜‰

I’m starting week 27 and so far things are going great, he’s growing strong and healthy. So far I’ve been struggling with my energy levels, there’s days that I can do 100 things at the same time and days that I struggle to get out of bed. But it’s all worth it.:)

Enough talking and lets start with the cutest baby outfits I found so far! My first shopping spree it’s from ZARA, by now you all now how hard I love that store in particular when they are on Sale. Each item was less than $20, so I stocked up with some nice essentials that are perfect Fall/Winter.

I hope you enjoy it!:)

Today I wanted to share with you something that is really close to my heart. I thought a lot whether I should write about this or not, but since this is my space feel free to ignore this post if you feel uncomfortable. To those who stayed thank you, I hope you enjoy it. πŸ™‚

I was writing a post about our last travel experience to Disney Hawaii, but I kept thinking about something else. This beautiful blogger community is giving me the chance to know some amazing women, with some of them I’m coincidentally sharing this beautiful stage in life called pregnancy.

With pregnancy comes a lot of unwanted advice, but that’s no the theme of today blog post. Today’s blog is about BODY SHAMING. Yes, you might think who in the world would do such a thing specially to a pregnant woman, but trust me, I experienced it myself and I know many other pregnant ladies that will feel related to this.

We all know that motherhood as is it it’s hard enough. Trust me when I tell you that we know how our pregnant body is constantly changing. We have an entire closet as a reminder that we owned clothes and shoes we can’t wear for quite some time. ;(

We don’t need reminders, not even in a ‘sarcastic’ or ‘funny’ way, that our faces are rounder, our hips bigger and our ankles swollen.
Don’t get me wrong, I received the most beautiful compliments and for those I’m grateful. But not everyone has the support I have and some of them can’t deal with these types of comments. So maybe next time you see a pregnant woman remember that… One kind word can change someone’s entire day. πŸ˜‰

Welcome to a new blog post! I’m sharing with you my five favorite red lipsticks.
I love how a red lip look can make any simple outfit look glamorous, even with little o no makeup. Reds lips are here to stay! If you find the perfect shade of red for your skin tone you can wear it all year long.

I tried several shades of red before I found which ones I liked better. Finally I realized I always ended up picking blue-toned reds, I do think they look better with my skin tone.

But enough chatting and let me start with my five favorite red lipstick choice!

NOTE: If you can’t find your favorite red lipstick leave it the comments below! I might find a new favorite. πŸ˜‰

1) L’OREAL: COLOR SHINE STAY IN ENDLESS RED

I found this lipstain to be more a daytime red, I usually wear it during the day because of it’s glossy finish. I like that non- sticky feel and that leaves my lips soft and hydrated during the day. Great choice for a great price!($10)

2) LIME CRIME: IN RED VELVET

This is a liquid matte lipstick it glides on as a liquid and dries out to a velvety matte finish. You can drink and eat and it will stay there as long as you want. I do like to apply some lip balm before applying it. Plus it’s cruelty free and vegan.($20)

3) STILLA: ALL DAY LIQUID LIPSTICK IN FIERY

Liquid lipstick, with vitamin E and avocado oil for hydrated yet matte look. It’s highly pigmented, last up to 6 hours and it’s budge-proof. It’s applied like a gloss yet has the staying power of a stain.($24)

4) ROUGE VOLUPTE SHINE: ROUGE IN DANGER

Besides the gorgeous packaging this red lipstick it’s perfect for a daytime look. It’s super creamy, moisturizing and has a nice sheer finish. You can apply several layers for a deeper color.($37)

5) ROUGE VOLUPTE: RED MUSE
This lipstick is the perfect all time red, bright also creamy and it smells so good. If you like creamy formulas then this lipstick is for you. It tend to use this lipstick with a lip liner to avoid feathering. You can also apply several layers to get a darker shade of red.($37)

Hello and welcome to a new post!
Today I wanted to share with all of you some really exciting news! By now you may already know that I’m expecting my second child, a beautiful rainbow baby. πŸ™‚
Baby ‘B’ (I will wait to share her/his name) came into our lives at the perfect time.

Today I partnered up with Freshly Picked to bring you this exciting news! They make the most adorable and comfortable moccasins perfect for newborns and for those first baby steps.

With this pregnancy we found out really early if we were having a girl or a boy, perks of getting older. πŸ˜‰ The doctor did some genetic testing which tells you right after the 10th week what you are expecting ( I found out with my son that we were expecting a boy when I was almost 5 months pregnant), so it was quite fast!

Without further ado we are thrilled to announce that…we are expecting a baby boy!

Hi there, welcome to a new blog post! Today I wanted to share with all of you a lash treatment called Keratin Lash lift.

I wanted to try to this treatment for quite some time since I had already tried eyelash extension I gave it a try. This time I wanted to tried something that worked similar to eyelash extensions and avoid getting my own lashes damaged.

This lash lift it’s different than the ones to that were done some years ago with a smaller curl. The eyelash profesional used a silicone pad so the curl is more natural and each lash can be lift individually adding volume to them.

You are able to choose the size of your curl ( Small, Medium or Large). I decided to go with small since I was looking for a natural yet “dramatic” effect. The lashes are “glued” to the silicone pad for about 40 minutes ( I took a nice and deserved nap πŸ˜‰ ). It’s not painful but your eyes need to be stay closed the entire time.

After that the technician applied a tint to make them stand out even more. The lash lift lasts around 8 to 12 weeks. Way more convenient that eyelash extensions if you ask me! πŸ™‚ I was also told not to wet them and avoid makeup for just 24 hours.

If you are like me and are not entirely sure about eyelash extensions you should give the Keratin Lash Lift a try.

Here’s a before and after picture, those were the results with no mascara at all!

Hi ladies! Today I’m sharing my La Mer Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation experience.
I was a little skeptical to try it at first, a few months ago I purchased La Mer’s BB cream and ended up returning it. It was just too oily for my skin and I was not pleased with the shades either.

Despite this bad experience, I decided to give it a chance when I heard they launched a new foundation with a brand new formula.

IMG_8252

I learned my lesson and asked for several samples first, not only because I wanted to make sure the formula was going to work with my skin; but also I wanted to pick the right shade.

IMG_8260

Skin wise, this new foundation comes with all the skin benefits you’ll find in any La Mer product plus SPF 20, amazing healing properties, hydrating and of course their signature Miracle Broth. You can’t go wrong with any La Mer products.

IMG_8267

Now lets talk about coverage, I found it has a medium coverage but you are able to build it up to full, in my case I like the fact that I can still see my skin. It covers really well but it doesn’t feel you are wearing tons of makeup. I have a few freckles and this foundation blurred them away graciously.
This formula it’s so much better than the BB Cream I tried!

I was surprised with how glowy and healthy the skin looked, not greasy but with a healthy glow, even after using face powder my skin looked amazing.

Price wise, it is a big investment, I wont lie. But in comparison with the rest of La Mer’s products is not a such a crazy price. If you are able to indulge yourself give it a try I promise you wont regret it.
